Third visit we still love to stay here.

Bed comfortable need new bedding. Lounge needs more comfortable furniture.cobwebs everywhere.kitchen well equipped no numbers on cooker.only kitchen and toilet on ground floor.hadto go up and down seven steep stairs for everything difficult for old or limited mobility.bit over priced.view amazing.
We loved our stay, perfect for a seaside escape. Has everything you need, very helpful owners and information on the property and local area, felt very private.
Very pleasant stay with excellent hosts. Great views and the main village well within a short walk. This is a thoroughly recommended place to stay. We hope to return in the near future
The Grain Store is OK. I would say it could be improved with a makeover new grout, new furniture, lick of paint etc. It's not in bad shape but feels rather tired. Whilst it wasn't expensive for the area, I was left feeling I'd slightly overpaid for the tired state of everything.
Nicholas
A compact but practical cottage suitable for a short stay. Abersoch and all the local amenities are only a short walk away. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to eat in when we wanted, the bed was comfortable, the shower was perfectly adequate, the view from the kitchen was gorgeous and it was so quiet.
Pamela
A perfect, peaceful place to stay with an amazing view and privacy to enjoy. Our hosts Malcolm and Fran went above and beyond to help us during our stay, after our car broke down and we had to extend our stay. 10 minutes to an a wonderful beach and central to visit surrounding areas. Will definitely be back.
Kathryn
The Grain Store was in a perfect position for our stay in Abersoch. It is approximately 1520 minutes walk from the town which was not a problem for us. The cottage is traditional and very comfortable.
This is a lovely little cottage with a fine view out towards Cardigan Bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again if we decide to go to Abersoch again.
Alison
Lovely setting with great sea views. Well equipped cosy and delightful property. Good position out of the town but close enough to walk down.
Elizabeth
We had a great time at The Grainstore. It is a lovely, cosy property with stunning views in all directions. Who doesnt like cooking with sea views?? The property is small but airy and was thoroughly enjoyed by us all, 3 adults and two Labradors. The facilities and position were excellent as its only a short walk into Abersoch for beaches, restaurants and shops.
Kathryn
Great cosy accommodation in a perfect location for exploring Abersoch. The kitchen was really well equipped and had everything that we needed for our stay.
Lovely little property, close to the action of Abersoch but far enough away to enjoy the countryside. The views are fantastic. All the facilities you want are there, including smart TV. Its about 15 mins walk to the town, Abersoch is lovely if a little pricey can recommend Crust for pizza, 10 mins down the hill.
Second time weve stayed. Well maintained and looked after. Clean and comfortable. Great views. Only short walk from Abersoch
The Grain cottage was perfect and as described in the description and pictures. Only a short 10 minute walk to town. The owners were on site and vert friendly and helpful. They let us store our bike in one of their buuildings.

Absolutely perfect. So cosy, quaint, and beautiful views. Felt so at home there. All the amenities anyone could need. Shame booked out when we plan our next trip to Abersoch, but will definitely return soon.
The Grain store was a lovely property which was perfect for our short break. It was well equipped and cosy. The location is good, only a short distance out of Abersoch and in easy reach of some lovely beaches around the Llyn Peninsula.
Nice quiet setting overlooking the bay only short walk to abersoch but a couple of blind bends so we used the car .
Lesley
We all had a lovely stay at the grain store. Great location & in walking distance of Abersoch steep hill walking back so may be unsuitable for elderly. The owners live next door in the farm house, but it doesnt feel too intrusive, plus they are at hand if you were to need them. The cottage had everything you need, including a dishwasherwasher & tumble dryer which was really handy! The only improvement I can suggest, is that the bathroomshower room could do with an upgrade, its very oldworn looking.
We were looked after very well, & its convenient for Abersoch.
Alistair
Lovely spot. The grain store was really nicely renovated and there is a great view from the property. Just a short walk into Abersoch.
Excellent place to stay, about 15 minutes walk from the centre. Really cosy inside and everything you need is provided apart from towels. You even get a sea view! Would highly recommend.
Disappointed with the cleanliness on arrival, had to clean some area's ourselves, although the hoover and mop where extremely dirty. Couldn't get the front door to lock which meant we had to leave the property unlocked when going out.
Peaceful location, owners live next door owners very friendly, but did not intrude. steep hill down the road to Abersoch. parking in a Abersoch at premium so not good location if you struggle with walking.
Absolutely fantastic! I and my staffy had brilliant, AWSOME time there! The cottage was well equipt, had everything and more, stunning views, very private and lovely owners. If you are looking for something vintage, quiet, cosy and a proper character country cottage then this one is for you.I am very private person and I hate busy holiday parks and bum next to bum camp sites so this cottage was everything I wanted.Close to lovely beaches and town centre. We will definitely going back.
Kathleen
Lovely compact cottage, with everything you need, mattress too soft for my taste, but not a deal breaker. Abersoch very busy, recommend booking tables and taxis early, a good 15 minute walk to the village, very enjoyable stay.
Jennifer
Lovely cottage and fantastic location & view. The owners were very welcoming & friendly. Would definitely recommend!
The property is well managed by thoughtful and kind owners who live at an adjacent property. It is in a quiet setting just outside the village with a lovely view.
Rosalyn
Great little find! It was spotlessly clean. Very cosy. The double bed mattress was super super soft so may not suit some folk. The single beds were firmer so that fixed that problem!!
Stephen
The cottage has a superb view from the kitchen and lounge windows. It was very peaceful and spacious for two people. Although there is no enclosed garden for exercising your dog, there is a grassed area just outside the back door which we found more than adequate. The decked area outside the lounge door has a gate at the bottom of the ramp making it secure and dog safe. The cottage contains everything needed for self catering including a full sized fridge freezer. We will certainly return to this lovely place and area.
Annette
Fantastic place to stay in Abersoch go each year and never disappoints
Jacqueline
S accommodation was perfectly adequate. The linen was clean and the beds comfortable. The mattress was a tad too soft for me, but thats just me! Due to COVID, there was no paper info etc about the area, or board games and the like. The Freeview TV was ok. Id suggest bringing a fire stick or some DVDs perhaps? The WiFi was found using through using 2 routers, depending on where you were in the small building, which was interesting. Download a few films maybe? The whole was fine and I would come back to if, but it just needs a little more tlc to make it great. The kitchen could do with an upgrade and the whole place broadcast it was a holiday let, smell included. We had our dog there is a garden but its not enclosed, just for info. There are some beautiful photographs of the local scenery, on the walls. It is what it is. It is good value and as I said, I would come back.
Well where do I start. It is a shame that this property had not been maintained and cared for as the location was stunning. The outside area was poor with overgrown shrubbery, a patio which had with dirty chairs and so much dirt and grime just awful and unusable advertised full use of. The cottage inside was well worn and grubby especially the kitchen a cooker with no dial controls, food deposits down the side, wooden spoons when wet were slimy due to their age, rusty old cooking tins and a first aid kit with no contents advertised full use of. Dispite being told of the extra cleaning procedures due to Covid19 we found this property to be well below standard. Standards should be of the highest quality at at all times paying customers expect.
Had a great time seeing new sites beaches etc
Great location, ten mins walk from village. Full equipped, apart from towels, although we knew about this prior to arrival. Fantastic communication from host. Would definitely use again.
Fantastic location, gorgeous sea views, quiet and tranquil and a well stocked holiday letting. Would definitely visit again.
Abersoch is great, lots of good walking and the most fabulous beaches and views. We would definitely return. Plenty of eating and drinking choices whilst still retaining a village feel. Dog owners note many parts of coastal path require dog on a lead due to farmland abutting. But lots of offlead opportunities and dog friendly sections of the beaches. The Grain Store is about 10 mins downhill walk into the centre of Abersoch. Its perfectly adequate for a weeks stay with a quirky layout and clean enough where it matters. Comfy beds. We were supposed to get an email in advance from owners which never came, don't know why, but we missed the fact that no towels are provided perhaps this should be clear in the property details? But not to worry, bath towels were offered to help us out when I asked, just a stress you dont need on arrival. Ramp to front door, but be aware there are a few steep steps to kitchenbathroom if you have difficulties. No welcome pack provided but that didnt worry us Asda in Pwhelli and large Londis in the village. Owners have field adjacent and we were permitted to use this for the dog, useful in a morning! Otherwise there is a small section of grass outside the back door. A very enjoyable week.
The Grainstore is a lovely little cottage with everything that we needed , home from home ! ! Very well situated for exploring the nearby areas. The view is fantastic !!
