I've visited 3 times now. A cosey, cottage, really well located, convenient for access to a number of great beaches and close to Abersoch village. The owners kindly left a lovely welcome package. Well worth a stay.

A lovely comfortable cottage with a great garden and beautiful views. The cottage was well equipped with everything you need for a holiday. We had a great time and we were lucky to have great weather. Perfectly positioned to do either walking or sightseeing by car. Abersoch has some great restaurants and beautiful beaches. Our first time but would definitely visit again.

We've booked through Sykes previously and have had some wonderful places to stay, from very modern to old and rustic, but all with character, charm, and comfort. I felt let down, as this was not what I expected. The first major point for me was the ridiculous amount of air fresheners eight located all over the place. I react very badly to these and am still suffering from painful, swollen hand and knee joints as a result. On arrival, I couldn't enter, as the overpowering smell would affect anyone. After removing them and opening all windows and doors, it was impossible to get rid of the amount of chemicals in the air for the duration of our stay. We were lucky that the weather was amazing, so we only slept in the cottage, and this was with all windows open. The views were spectacular, but the windows were absolutely filthy, so they could not be properly enjoyed from indoors. The garden was unkempt and shabby, and the chairs on the lawn area were extremely dirty. The very top area was nice to eat at with lambs next to us, just a shame about pots with weeds and grass, which would be better removed. The beds were clean and comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped, but we had to wash utensils as they had food still on them from previous guests, and some crockery had dried insects on it, so again we had to wash items before use. The welcome pack was nice, with cakes and prosecco, and there was plenty of information in a folder. The cottage is very bright, with lots of natural light, but it is tired and in need of a makeover. One seat of the sofa is worn out, so you fall into a hole. The shower does not spray properly, and the hose is very dirty, full of black grime. There are photos available if needed.

A really comfortable cottage, well located within easy reach of some beautiful beaches and walks. This has been my second stay, really appreciate the great welcoming offered by the owners. Highly recommend a stay here.

I have been there many times and have always found it to be very clean and comfortable.

The cottage is on a narrow but surprisingly busy road and the speed of some vehicles was amazing. Always a worry when pulling out with the car. We spent much of our time going to or through Abersoch to get anywhere and suffered a couple of the dreaded 20mph zones which made it a pain. The cottage was larger than the spec. suggested and comfortable in a typical holiday rental sort of way old furniture a mixed bag of utensils and so on, but it had a least 1 of everything you needed. There is a musty smell, particularly in the front bedroom. Overall it was ok and we had a great week, made more so by some wonderful weather.

The cottage is in a good location for visiting the Llyn peninsular. There is everything you need a bit too much of some items, broken stools etc for a weeks stay. When I booked, the lane in front of the cottage looked narrow and one of the reviews stated local traffic. Expecting it to be light, I was surprised on how much traffic went past and at some speed. There is no speed limit past the cottage even though just down the road it is 40 and 20mph which need extending to the cottage and beyond Getting out of the parking area onto the road was dangerous. You need to be guided out with someone on the road looking for traffic, as the both ways out are blind. Maybe a mirror opposite the parking area would help to see what's coming. We like to cook and eat in but the only place to do this was in the sunroom and the table was too low. There is a table folded up in the sunroom but there is nowhere to put it. Some of the photos are dated, as the green garden furniture is no longer there, only a wooden bench. All in all the cottage is acceptable but watch out for the traffic

Comfy property, generally well equipped but would have liked a dishwasher. Strange arrangement of accommodation with the main bedroom off the kitchen. Love the cosy conservatory. Not an ideal garden as it is behind the property up some steps. Good location convenient for the village and beaches.

Trigfa is a lovely little cottage and had everything we needed to make it a great stay. We loved the homely touches and the fact that there were facilities and a warm sunny room at the back to dry our things due to the inevitable weather. It was very conveniently placed as well in a beautiful part of the country. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a fantastic week in Trigfa got off to a great start with lovely, friendly communication and a welcome package of local treats and fizz from the owners. The cottage feels spacious and homely, with well proportioned rooms, plenty of storage, facilities for drying clothes from being in the sea etc and everything you need for self catering. The beds were comfortable. It's only a few minutes drive out of Abersoch and has a real rural, peaceful feeling with a sea view in the distance over the rolling hills. It was our first visit to Abersoch but won't be our last!

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely Trigfa Cottage, which was not far from the centre of Abersoch but far enough away to allow peace and quiet to enjoy the fabulous views. Great location. We plan to return here as we really enjoyed our stay at the well equipped cottage. The welcome pack from the owners was a lovely touch and was thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend a stay at Trigfa Cottage

Trigfa was the perfect place for a long weekend in the wonderful Welsh sunshine! The situation is perfect, so close to Porth Ceriad which is a very special beach. We loved breakfasting in the sun room and dinner in the garden looking out over the hills. Appreciated the welcome treats and the cottage really suited our family. Thank you!

Trigfa was a real find and Ive now stayed there twice and have a third visit booked. Perfect place to spend Christmas this year and the owner had made an effort to put a few Christmas touches around the cottage which were appreciated. Everything you need and more is at the cottage and the owner appears to have thought of everything and left a very generous welcome package. An unforeseen problem with the fridge this time was swiftly resolved by the owner. The cottage is perfectly positioned and is equidistant to Abersoch and Hells Mouth which was a selling point for me. Discovered this time that the beautiful Porth Ceiriad is only a 15 minutes stroll away. Trigfa is a gem but dont tell everyone so it can remain my secret hideaway.

Amazing cottage ,quirky ,very comfortable and very well equipped . A perfect home from home where the owners have thought of everything ,including an excellent welcome pack . It offers a two tier garden with great views and a lovely retreat for dining and relaxing. The cottage is a perfect location for exploring local walks ,beaches and near to Abersoch . Would highly recommend and will certainly return .

We really enjoyed our week at Trigfa. It felt like a home from home as soon as we walked in. Loved the garden with the two separate areas. There's a sun trap at the bottom end with a table and seats to eat out there when the weather is good. Some lovely beaches close by and a short walk into Abersoch.

Had a great stay and will definitely be returning. Tranquil, fantastic surroundings, great wildlife, great walks, unbelievable night skies. Owners were such lovely people. What else is there to say?

Trigfa met all our expectations and exceeded! A delightful cosy and well appointed retreat. We were so lucky to have had such excellent weather which showed off the beautiful countryside to its best. Highly recommend.

Absolutely spot on! Just returned home from a delightful two week stay here. Really comfortable cottage with everything you might need and some lovely welcoming extras! Friendly and helpful communication from the owners made our entire stay smooth and without issue. The cottage is well equipped with plenty of outdoor space for parking and relaxing. The accommodation is very comfortable, being an multiextended stone cottage with good sized bedrooms and living room. However the kitchen is so small it cannot accommodate 2 people, and a small pull out table on the wall has to be used as work surface space. The added on conservatory held the only pull out large table for eating on, and this was rickety. There is no dishwasher as advertised and the large lawn garden appearing on the holiday particulars is none existent, having been reduced to a tiny area surrounded by shrub planting to hide a chalet building at the top of the garden, appearing to be another single let or owners use accommodation. The garden area is higher than the house and accessed by two steps. Although on the roadside, traffic noise was not a problem in evening and morning, but the road is the access to caravan parks further along and in the height of season may be noisier. I would not book this property again, purely because of its lack of kitchen space.

Everything was great, cottage perfect, only negative point was that would have preferred a dishwasher to a washing machine but that's just cos not used to doing so much washing up. Other than that can't fault it. Very lucky with the weather and some fabulous walks and scenery from the door.

Had a fab time at this cottage with my 2 children. Property was larger than pictures portray. Gareths welcome was lovely bottle of fizz great touch. Extremely clean cottage nice little garden area at rear overlooked by cows. A bit out of Abersoch but easy enough to park nearer when needed. Sofa and double bed perhaps cld do with an update but property had everything a family wld need.

The cottage was lovely everything in the cottage was clean and comfortable , and the neighbours were great they came and greeted us when we arrived and in the afternoons, they were very big Bulls, lovely to see them so close up. The cottage is a bit out of Abersoch about five mins in car 5 for car park's that's for eight hours, and walking it take's about half to three quarters of the hour. The only down side for us was the garden with our dog, you could not just open the door and let him out into the garden, as you could not see what he was up to, had to go out of the front door lock it and then use side gate up to the garden, the grass area is not like the picture shown, not as green and is patchy, the upper level is ok lovely views, and you can hear the bull's having a drink as you are right next to them, had to block a few little gaps up, as are dog is very inquisitive. But other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Clean bungalow, larger than thought. It was very private and being detached, very quiet too. Shame weather not that good so didn't use the two areas in garden, one for sitting out, or the top garden with bbq. We like Sarn Bach as near our favourite Machroes Beach but also not too far to Abersoch itself. Nice touch owners leaving us a bottle of Prosecco.

The cottage was beautiful, perfect scenic views. So tranquil, pretty nearby beach lovely too. A place you dont want to leave, the Prosecco left for us on arrival a very kind gesture too
