Mor Glas Reviews

A lovely place for a relaxing break. Views looking across the town and sea were great from the balcony. Plenty of room for parking. Town n beaches are within walking distance. Clean sand plus crystal clear water. Dog friendly with a huge outside space, far left corner is open to a field, so be aware if dog explores. We will stay here again n again. If needed cupboards are stuffed with games and toys for children. Comfy beds and cozy place to stay.

Property it self was in an amazing location brilliant views from the balcony, beds were comfy, sheets were clean however mattress covers were not. Plenty of crockery and pans, the cleanliness of the kitchen was poor, cupboard shelves and under the sink and the bins you could see hadn't been cleaned for weeks. The kitchen tap dripped all week, perhaps if there were a few cleaning products and spare bags for the bins under the sink it may have been helpful.Main bathroom again had been poorly cleaned, was left a dirty slip mat for the bath, hair still left in the bin, and all around the taps you could see again not cleaned for weeks.I could go on and on but it would spoil a brilliant week in Abersoch. I've booked with Sykes for years and all their properties have been fantastic and will book again with them, just not this one.

This was a really lovely place to stay. The toys were a real hit with the children. Lots of pans, pots crockery. Would have been nice to have a few basic additions like salt, pepper, little cooking oil etc just to start visitors off. The sleeping arrangement suited us perfectly as Mum Dad and children slept downstairs and Nana had bedroom upstairs with en suite. Altogether I would say good value for money, fabulous views and driving distance to lots of lovely beaches and castles. Of course the perfect weather made all the difference. Would certainly visit again. Thank You.
Layout & location great. .however, cleanliness wasnt. Fridge hadnt been cleaned & some of the crockery & cutlery wernt clean.
Lovely open plan layout upstairs with beautiful views of the bay. Very comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything we needed. Reading previous reviews, we were prepared with bringing toilet rolls, tea towels, dish cloths, washing up liquid and hand soaps. Thank you for letting us stay there!

Sadly for myself & my family we were disappointed on arrival to find the house hadnt been cleaned, whilst new bedding and towels had been provided the house was dirty and smelt of the last guests dog. There was no toilet roll or handwash in either bathroom. These issues were rectified by the agent for the house who sent a team of cleaners out, however we were also told a bottle of Prosecco would be delivered by way of apology, this never materialised. On this occasion Sykes let us down as guests and the owners of the house whom they represent. I am still waiting 2 weeks on from submitting a complaint for any acknowledgment of that. The positives of the house are the lovely views and the space it offered us with the games room. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were all comfortable. It was only a short walk into Abersoch which offered lovely eating places. That said the outside of the house could do with some attention, both the front and back need tidying up and weeding, and the front was so overgrown you couldnt open the downstairs bathroom window fully due to all the greenery. This is just cosmetic but would offer a nicer first impression. Overall the house was nice and met our requirements, the main negative is Sykes who maintain the house and on this occasion failed to provide a satisfactory service.
Thought the accommodation was in a good location with a lovely view but the bathrooms were old and very dated. On arrival, I was also disappointed to find that the house was missing a few basic essentials including dishcloths and toilet rolls etc. which I would have expected to be in the house. After contacting the owner to let him know, the owner didnt respond to my message which meant that I had to purchase some of the missing items before the shops shut. The next day he rang me and offered to reimburse me I had a receipt and brought a few more missing items I had mentioned but unfortunately after our stay, he refused to answer any further messages and did not refund any money despite having my bank account details that he had requested. I have since spoken to Sykes who have made the refund on his behalf so therefore, would not recommend Mor Glas for a holiday as this property is not cheap, didnt live up to my expectations and found it upsetting that the owner didnt keep to his word.
Wonderful position giving the best of all worlds. Beautiful views over the bay, far enough out of the town centre to be silent at night but only a 10 minute walk in. 15 minutes walk from the beach. The facilities are perfect for self catering with a fully equipped kitchen, complete with all cutlery, crockery etc.Lots of room for lounging, truly a home from home.
Thanks for a lovely stay. House suited our needs perfectly. Loved chilling out on the balcony overlooking the fields, village and the whole bay with Snowdonia as a backdrop in the distance. Could do with the electric showers replacing with more modern powerful units but apart from that perfect.
