The double bunk room with two pull-out beds proves extremely popular with children. Kids love being just 0.1 mile from shops and 0.2 miles from the beach for easy access. The outdoor hot water shower adds fun after sandy beach visits. Enclosed gardens with extensive lawns provide safe play space. A travel cot and highchair are available. The mezzanine snug offers a separate space for games and books.
For Couples
The Coach House works better for large groups than couples seeking an intimate retreat. The super-king bedroom features a luxurious en-suite with freestanding bath and walk-in shower. Couples could enjoy the woodburning stove and coastal walks to Llanbedrog. However, with five bedrooms sleeping 14, this property is designed for family gatherings rather than romantic breaks for two.

The Coach House Reviews

The Coach House is a lovely property and an excellent choice for a large family gathering. We stayed over Christmas and really appreciated the spacious ground floor, which made it easy for us to cook, eat, and spend time together. The cosy sofas by the fire were perfect for relaxing in the evenings, Christmas decorations would have been a nice touch. The large selection of books and games was thoughtful and added to the homely feel. Its in a great location and an easy walk to the shops and beach, we also found lots of beautiful walking paths nearby. However the property was sadly let down by attention to detail. There was not enough cutlery or equipment for 14 Guests and some of the quilts and mattress's are in need of updating. While extra cutlery was provided a few days after we arrived, the other concerns unfortunately werent addressed during our stay. Its a real shame, as this is a great property with so much potential and is otherwise ideal for a large family group. With a few improvements, it could be truly outstanding.

Fabulous weeks stay amazing house and brilliant location. Kitchen had everything you could need and more. Saw some people moaning about the wine glasses but I really liked them
Once again a lovely holiday spent at the Coach House. Noticed how clean it was. Will be booking yet again for next year .
Lovely property great location. We felt the property could have been cleaned to a better standard for our arrival, but overall a really lovely property.
Only problem we had with no hot water for first day was dealt with and sorted out as quick as was possible
Lovely house in great location. After the 10 of us spending a lovely day on the beach and in the sea it was very disappointing that we had no hot water on that day particularly as we had dinner booked. Apart from that a little more attention to detail for such a lovely house, more than 1 loo roll per toilet, some shower gel, and more care to clean old cobwebs from corners, tops of curtains and lamp shades
Claire
The shower in the ensuite has a really noisy drip so had to move to another bedroom. .back door really bad squeak fantasticly well equipped kitchen great environment lovely house minor issues fab place
The water pressure in the bathroom at the bunk bed end was extremely low and no one could use the shower if anyone else was in the house. The shower in the main bedroom ensuite dripped constantly keeping us awake.

We all loved our stay at the coach house and it was perfect for our family group. The location is so close to beach, shops and restaurants but yet beautifully private. In the end there were only 9 of us not the 12 I originally booked so there was plenty of room. A private chef came in for my birthday and completed the perfection.
We all had a lovely stay in the Coach House. It meets multi generational needs. Very close to the beach so handy for dog walking, and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Any small niggles dealt with by the agents, no direct contact details for the owners.
Rachel
Excellent stay at The Coach House, beautiful property located in a prime location and had everything we needed to accommodate our large family. Will definitely be returning!
Absolutely amazing home. Only a few small criticisms. We were unable to find the wifi password or router anywhere so were without Wifi for the weekend. The blind in the children's room wasn't attached to the wall properly so when we tried to close it for the evening it came loose and we were unable to open it for the remainder of the stay. There was no wood left for the fire, and minimal toilet roll. Other than the above, we loved everything, Will definitely be back! Thank you
A really great house with good kitchen kit. The outdoor hot water shower is absolutely brilliant. There is plenty of parking space. Great location for the beach and right in town. Bright 'beach house' decor is practical and clean. The dining table is a very good size.

Although we were very happy with the house, we all felt that wardrobes would have made the house perfect. We also had an issue with a window blind, but the maintenance man came promptly to see it, although there was little he could do due to the blind fitting. I also had to contact Skyes cottages because the bins hadnt been emptied, but the was soon resolved.
The Coach House is an absolutely wonderful property we loved everything about it, and the whole family enjoyed the experience. The proximity to the High Street meant that my elderly inlaws could have their independence for a wander, and the proximity to the beach meant that I could get to see the sunrise within 5 minutes of getting out of bed! My only 'not so positive' comment would be the instructions around cleaning there is an inference that the guests are expected to clean the house I wonder whether this is a throw back to Covid as the cleaner will only do a 'light clean' whilst I always leave a holiday property tidy emptying bins and stripping beds, wiping down the kitchen worktops, it did sound like I was supposed to do a 'thorough' clean ... which I do consider comes as part of the cost of the holiday. It may just need a tweak to the wording ... or may be I'm being too sensitive! We loved it, and if we ever win the lottery, we'll be putting in an offer to buy it!
Justine
Amazing time at The Coach House, perfect for a family event. . house bright, spacious and beautifully presented. Will definitely be back 5

Overall very happy with our stay, the house & fittings were mostly very good especially the equipment & facilities in the kitchen, great for our large family. We appreciated the kind gesture of fizz & cake etc, many thanks! However, on arrival we were very disappointed to see the grass so long, it obviously hadnt been cut for several weeks. The outside shower was flooded & blocked by leaves, definitely hadnt been checked for some time. This would have been useful to clean sandy boots etc after our beach trips. Thank you for organising the cleanup of this area the day before we left The windows are in need of a good clean & these issues spoiled our first impressions of the house. Inside It was disappointing to see a broken blind in one of the bathrooms & the toilet seat in the main ensuite was worn with bare wood & we felt it unhygienic. It would also be useful to have a mirror in the master bedroom for hair drying. The other bedrooms were well fitted. We were very happy with the overall comfort of the house & the location was excellent. We enjoyed a lovely week in the house & in Abersoch. All of the above concerns were shared with Sykes Cottages office on Monday morning. Emma was very helpful & noted our comments thank you.
We had an amazing stay despite the weather, house was fabulous, the third house we have stayed in whilst holidaying in Abersoch. By far the best & we have already booked for next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at The Coach House . Fantastic property , well equipped & very comfortable. Everything we needed was there .Lots of games , jigsaws etc loved the upstairs seating area too . Soon after we arrived we noticed a leak from the living room ceiling but after a quick call to the office & visit from a plumber the problem was dealt with within the hour . Great central location, lovely coastal walks to Ceiriad & Llanbedrog & we were very lucky with a rain free weekend . Thankyou & I hope we will return .
You hope we enjoyed our stay at Coach House, you are the master of understatement, WOW! ! & that does not do it justice, & you provided the good weather as requested. Thanks for the refund, & yes we will definitely be back. Once again thank you.
