The rental of the property was comparatively reasonable for the area so we were not expecting top class accommodation. The caretakers were there on arrival and were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms quite adequate. Everything worked in the kitchen and there were plenty of pans, crockery etc. However downstairs was very shabby as was the outside and in need of some TLC. There were fields of caravans on 3 sides, which we were already aware of from the map, but a large grassy area in front and a fantastic sea view. As this house is by the sea and in good walking country it would be useful to have more facilities for hanging wet walking gear inside and washing lines outside for wetsuits etc.

Wonderful views from the lounge over the sea and towards Snowdon. Totally mesmerising and could be enjoyed sitting on the plentiful sunloungers outside as well as from the spacious and well equipped lounge. The house was well equipped and spotlessly clean on arrival. There was a very large grassy area, accessed from lounge patio doors which was safe and ideal for childre to play. In addition there was a much appreciated football net and children's play area. Access via key safe was also very helpful for a large group who might be doing different activities. Minor issues of missing items were quickly and efficiently dealt with. Overall we were very happy with Cim Canol. Two minor issues 1. Whilst providing a barbecue facility, it was too small and inadequate for the size of the group. The kitchen oven had to help out on barbecue night. Not disastrous but a bit frustrating. 2. A maintenance job needs to be attended to in the first accessed twin bedded room. The bedside table next to the window was not secure a new rawplug into the wall is required! The table was not safe to be used.

Generally great, we have returned for several years and hope to continue to do so. Site managers brilliant. Cooker excellent.

The house was really amazing and the view was incredible. It was nice to find somewhere so spacious for a family group with lots of safe outside space. The house was clean and well stocked with the basics and the kitchen was really well equipped. All the rooms were comfortable and clean and the showers were amazing. The hosts were really helpful and friendly and assisted with any questions we had. We didn't realise that there are adjoining houses so if you have a larger party you can rent 2 next to each other, something we'll consider in the future. We're already talking about when we can go back.

Great family house in a lovely location. Lots of space in the communal rooms

Generally ok although on arrival we found belongings in drawers from the previous occupants so clearly the cleaning had been just superficial. There were some brown marks on the wall in the first twin bedroom which were cleaned off quite easily were hoping they were just child chocolate fingerprints!? The dishwasher desperately needs some salt and rinse aid to help it clean better. Some basic items were absent which would have been useful for our stay oven gloves, a broom, a clothes airer, and hand soap in each bathroom. It would also be useful to have clearer information that the property is part of 4 within the whole building. It wasnt a problem, just sets clear expectations! In addition, providing some clear information that there is absolutely no facility for charging an electric vehicle. Again no real issue just helps those with an ev plan better! Please note though that none of this prevented us from having a fabulous time at Cim Canol. The garden space was great for the dogs. The sunrises and views were stunning. The proximity to the beach was fab and the general space in the house perfectly suited our needs and weve had a wonderful family week away and created some amazing memories.

Perfect for a family get together plenty of space, good size bedrooms and excellent showers. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely views and good for walkers.

I choose this house because it looked as if the living room and kitchen would comfortably fit in our family party of 12 aged 17 to 79. The house exceeded expectations. It was warm, clean,really comfy. Comfy beds too. A great area for beaches, cycling, walking. The views from the house are glorious. Loved it. Thanks.

The property exceeded our expectations. Great location and really large bedrooms which were all en suite. Sykes cottages are a nightmare to communicate with not able to email or phone them. I ended up having to get the train to their office in Chester to sort out a problem with the booking

Really excellent stay We needed two nights for a funeral. Host were great and welcoming Really responsive if we had any questions The view are amazing the house was amazing Lovely circular walk which is definitely a must. And lovely space which my youngest spent so much time flying a kite. Property had everything we needed and more

The property was fantastic and perfect for our whole family, plenty of space for us 12 of us in the kitchen and living spaces, and walking distance to 2 great beaches. Will definitely be back!

We went there for a relaxing family holiday. The property was warm and cozy when we arrived. The heating was turned on. The whole house including the bathrooms was very clean. It is nice cottage in a beautiful location, very well equipped and maintained. We would definitely recommend this property to our family and friends.
