Wonderful property very close to the village. Well maintained, clean and very comfortable. An ideal base for exploring the coastal path. Excellent communication from the owner who quickly responds to any queries.

Stayed at Myn y Nant for the second time and will be back again. The house is spacious but cosy and comfortable and ideally located. Help on hand whenever needed. All perfect. Many thanks.
This is our second visit to this accommodation and we love it. It is well placed for a short walk in to the village and the accommodation is spacious and very comfortable.
This is our 4th stay at Min Y Nant and we have booked for October 2026! The house is in a lovely quiet location about a 10 min walk into the centre of Abersoch, if you dont want to walk back uphill cut down Cae Du which is flatter. Facilities in the house are excellent, comfy beds and spotless. Would recommend for groups as well . Nice garden and outdoor BBQ if the weather is good. We would have no hesitation in recommending Min Y Nant for a holiday

Min Y Nant is a great property for a holiday in Abersoch. The accommodation is ideally suited to all ages. The open plan kitchen and living area is attractive and the outdoor area is safe for children and pets and enjoys sunshine for most of the day. Within walking distance, 510 mins, is a Spar supermarket. Both the village and the main Abersoch beach access are 20 mins walk away. The owner is helpful and anticipated a problem we might have had with the heating and contacted us to check it was working satisfactorily in a sudden cold snap.
We had a great stay at Min y Nant. Great location for families as spar located close by, easy walk to the shops and if wanted to you can walk to the beach0.7milesish. Beautiful open plan kitchen diner living space with down stairs toilet. We loved our stay. There was just a little bit of confusion with Menai holidays whether there were towels or not. But yes towels are included!! I had already taken ours! Its a really nice place to take the children on holiday!

Our second stay in this house. Perfect for our family. Highly recommend
Wonderful stay, thoroughly enjoyed. Super location, close enough to the town but just out of the way to be quiet with a lovely view, good facilities all round. Suites our family perfectly.
Stuart
Back garden of the property has been changed considerably since online photographs were taken. The artificial grass has weeds growing through and the garden walls need repainting. The front approach to the property needs tidying up. Freezer drawer missing. Downstairs toilet light bulb flashing bright then dim also toilet paper holder not secured properly to wall. Radiators need cleaning between the fins.Window surrounds in upstairs front bedroom need attention. Wardrobes were dusty. Wardrobe door in downstairs bedroom had faulty hinge causing it to jam on the drawer below so couldnt make full use this. The wine chiller could not be made to work correctly. Some of these faults had been remarked on by previous guests. The property is not all bad news but would benefit from a deep clean. Also Sykes online photos need to be updated.

Lovely spacious well equipped holiday cottage near the centre of Abersoch. Had the perfect balance of holiday v owners second home feel. I dont like feeling that Im living in someone elses home with all their personal effects around me as its not relaxing. Here the owner has managed to get the balance spot on with accessories to make it feel just right. The house has everything you could want. All previous reviews about missing things have been addressed eg clothes airer, soap in all areas. Towels were provided at no extra costs but wed taken our own based on Sykes info which needs updating. Garden is spacious with Astro turfed lawns and very large paved area with ample seating. It was secure even though our little terrier managed to get under a side gate! We blocked it off with a few logs and all was well. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The walk to the beach and village centre is approximately 1015minutes. It is quite hilly and you definitely feel it coming back! We visited Llanbedrog, Aberdaron, Pwhelli, Nefyn, Morfa Nefyn and Hells mouth during our stay. Criccieth and Porthmadog are also a short drive away if you fancy venturing further afield. It was a great place to stay and wed definitely return.
Brilliant property they offered all the things you hope are there but often are not like bin bags, soap, dishwasher tablets etc. The house is lovely, away from the busy bit of the village, lovely views and comfy beds. It was a pleasure to spend a week there.
Just returned from a lovely week at this property which is light, bright and tastefully decorated. The owner helpfully texted advice on a couple of matters such as the heating system on the day of our arrival. The cottage is in a very convenient and quiet location and a short walk into the restaurants and facilities of the main village of Abersoch and the beaches. It is also very well equipped with thoughtful touches in terms of a good range of barbeque equipment coals and lighter fluid left available. We had two dogs with us and the garden was safely enclosed with a dog crate available if desired which would help as its a large item to take. All in all we agreed this was the best property we have stayed at in the Abersoch area we have visited at least once a year for many years and we will definitely be returning and would not hesitate to recommend.
We have had another fantastic weeks stay at Min Y Nant. This is the perfect retreat for us to unwind and relax in our favourite part of North Wales and offers us all the home from him facilities we require in an elevated peaceful location.
Excellent property in a lovely location Adam the owner was very helpful and ... Excellent property in a lovely location Adam the owner was very helpful and replied immediately on the two occasions I contacted him

Beautiful house, that was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We were very happy in the holiday accomodation but there is a couple of suggestions for improvement if I am nit picking window in upper bedroom did not lock, downstairs double room could do with a paint refresh and the property could do with a clothes horse to dry clothes inside in wet weather. There is a really modern washing machine, which was well received, but struggled to dry clothes. We would recommend Min Y Nant and would love to revisit in the future.

House was fine but being pensioners we did struggle with entrance steps. Outside barbecue was not cleaned ready for use,, other than that eveything was fine and we enjoyed our stay at Min y nant. It might be worth mentioning in listing that it is a steep walk back from the village to the property and we always took the car down.
What a lovely place to holiday on arrival the house was spotless bright and spacious nothing disappointed beds were so comfortable the views were really good just a short walk into the centre of town and beaches our first visit to abersoch and won't be the last.
If youre looking to get away to recharge you will not be disappointed would definitely book again! ! Very clean, spacious and well equipped and very grateful for the welcome goodies!!!
Michael
Very nice only moan was we had small dogs and the gates were not suitable. Other than that really great.
Well maintained property, clean and with good amenities. Spacious open plan lounge with kitchen and dining area leading out to a patio and enclosed garden. Lovely views of the surrounding area and of the mountains in the distance. Good location, within a short drive of the town centre and a dog friendly sandy beach. Would definitely recommend this property.
Verity
Fantastic all round, stunning view. Loved it.

We had a wonderful second stay at Min Y Nant. We did have a couple of issues with appliances that had stopped working which Adam sorted immediately for us thank you! We love the house its everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. We will definitely be coming back!
Neville
Our stay was excellent. The property was a real home from home . It had everything we needed and more . The beds were comfortable and aided a good nights sleep. The views from the cottage were amazing and it was only a 10 minute walk to Abersoch beach. The owner Adam was a good host and dealt with issues raised immediately. Not to sound picky but to make this property 5 Star plus I think that towels should be provided also TVs in the bedrooms . We would highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.
Tracey
Fantastic property and a great location!
Outstanding home. Spotlessly clean, loads of space and location was perfect for walking in and out the village. Would highly recommend. If I really had to pick fault then there was a few very minor things. The microwave is impossible to use, so gave up!! There was no serving bowls when cooking for multiple people i.e. salad dish, large pasta dish, nothing for large amounts of food. And last thing, it could do with a couple of comfortable sun loungers in the garden, we were wanting to sunbathe and had to lie on the floor. But like I say these are very minor. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.
The place was spotless! Just a few points.microwave didn't work. Information said there were two TVs but there was only one. Also it said there was sky TV but it was inaccessible . Finally it would have nice to have had a hairdryer. Apart from this it's a perfect place to stay very comfortable and very well equipped. Thank you
More than met expectations for our three generation family. Location great. Very well equipped house although could not find hairdryer and despite phone request there was no parasol, which would have been appreciated given the hot weather.
Notwithstanding the issues we had with the property it is well positioned and in the right circumstances would be good. 2 sets of major blinds advised to us as broken on the way to the property did NOT get repaired as expected during our stay. The maintenance guys could not sort. The owner advised he would sort it they stayed broken for the visit. Heating did not work for first 36 hours. Owner fixed it but the thermostat is tricky and luck is needed to adjust switch the heating on. The building work started on the 3 day of our visit. Next door had a new drive way out in not advised pre booking. Apparently this happens and we are simply unlucky it was our week! The reality was the property was unusable for 5 days of our visit between 8am the start and about 5.30 the builders end point. The owner has offered us 10 off the next time we book as compensation we assumed there was a level of irony here. Sykes were no help their mate since guy could not fix issues and washed their hands of anything that happened outside the property. Good luck with any ones week here as if you have an unlucky week like is neither the owner or Sykes seemingly care.

Beautiful home modern, well equipped, comfortable and spacious. In a quiet location, with local shops only a 10 minute walk.
A very wellappointed property. The open plan ground floor layout works well with great views to the front. For some groups having two bedrooms on the ground floor and the bathroom upstairs may prove a bit awkward. The front steps are steep so a definite nono for the disabled or infirm. The patio at the back is enclosed and laid with plastic turf great for kids to play on. However, the road running just behind the rear boundary is a bit noisy. All said, it's a great base for exploring the Lleyn Peninsula. I would recommend the Sun pub a mile further out of town on the road on which you arrived if you want a more traditional pub environment with good food and a garden. You also avoid the walkclimb back up from the town as parking there is limited
A lovely cottage but we were expecting the bathroom shared by the two downstairs bedrooms to also be downstairs. Sadly it was not which meant I was not able to have a shower due to the difficulty of walking up and down stairs , the bannister being too wide to give me the support needed. Also no bath mat and a smooth floor which was slippy when wet..However the lounge, dining and kitchen area were really nice, very well stocked and so pleasant and convenient to live in. The outside area was wonderful for the dog and we loved it too. We found that it was a mile to the beach, not the 0.5 mile stated and it would have been helpful if we had been told how hilly it was. We did, however, have a very enjoyable holiday.
Just returned from this lovely , clean and comfortable home in Abersoch. Set in a quiet location yet near to the village and fabulous beach. We hope to return soon, many thanks
Great accommodation every convenience and facility hugely enjoyable stay weather was fantastic to!
Very nice premises , loverly location . Enjoyed by all the family . Would book again without hesitation .
Just to say we had a lovely time at Min Y Nant and found everything to be just as wed hoped. We found the house to very clean, comfortable and well equipped and perfectly located to walk into and out of the village without too much effort.
