About Ty Ffynnon

Great location and amazing garden for our kids and dogs.
Ensuite downstairs toilet didnt flush, it was fixed 4 days later. It then leaked and had to be switched off completely. This property was booked so an elderly lady had the facilities downstairs as she was not able to climb the stairs

Nice place . Situated in the heart of abersoch. Parking awkward but ok . Place a little tired . Electric heaters couldn't get to work. Would book again if it had space for the boat.
Our third stay now as the position is ideal, so close to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The enclosed garden is great for our dogs!

We had a great week at Ty Ffynnon. The location is AMAZING, right in the centre of abersoch on the doorstep of everything but no noise could be heard from inside which was impressive. The space inside and out was ample for our party five adults, three children The bedrooms were spacious enough and very comfortable. The en suites & bathrooms were all a good size and gave everyone their own space. The garden is mega. For such a central location it was a brilliant size. Our puppies loved it and so did the kids. The weather was mixed but we managed some al fresco dining. The kitchen was fine. Most of our cooking was done using the aga, which was great once you got the hang of it. Plenty of pots and pans, so the whole kitchen was amply equipped. Id read some negative reviews before going about cleanliness etc. The property is not dirty but it is an old cottage, and if you want fully modern with every modcon going then it might not be for you. If you want the best location and are happy with a little more traditional then you will love it. Thats not to say a hot tub wouldnt be a fantastic edition though

NO ONE THERE TO MEET US ON ARRIVAL NO NAME ON THE GATEHAD TO GO TO THE LOCAL SHOPS TO FIND SOMEONE TO ASK COOKING FACILITIES 1 INDUCTION HOB THE INSTRUCTIONS NO USE AT ALL SPENT NEARLY 2 HOURS ON PHONE TO YOUR OFFICE BUT NO ONE KNEW A LOCAL YOUNG LADY CAME IN TO SHOW US HOW CLEARER INSTRUCTIONS NEEDED THEN THE AGAIT WAS ON READY TO GOINSTRUCTIONS WERE GWASOOD AND THE OWNER HELPED WITH THE DETAIL. 3 DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOMTHE WHITE PPAINTPLASTER WAS COMING OFF THE WALLS 4 REFUSE COLLECTION IT WOULD BE MORE HELPFUL TO KNOW THE DAY OFCOLLECTION

We were particularly pleased with the enclosed patio and garden which were very safe for our dog. The location of the house is very convenient for the beach , shops , cafes etc and despite being near the centre of the village it was surprisingly quiet. We have already booked a return visit next year.
