15 Maes Awel Reviews

Second year at the property. It's well situated, comfy, clean and spacious. One small problem with there being no hot water one day was promptly dealt with and sorted out. We've already booked to come again in 2027!!

Joanne

Lovely, clean spacious property. Although a short steep hill would be a struggle for someone with walking difficulties. I would definitely recommend this property, definitely enough room for 8 adults and will hopefully return in the future .

Very clean property throughout, well laid out especially the lounge kitchen area where it made a great place to prepare food and join in with the whole family. Enclosed garden at the back great for out 2 small dogs. We had a really nice barbeque one evening which everyone enjoyed the outdoor space. Well located withing easy walking distance to the village or the beach. Perfect for our family stay.

A very clean, comfortable and well Equipped property with small private garden and lots of parking. Easy walk to village or beach. Quiet location. Only negative is that the drains in bathrooms smell very bad.

Welcome pack was a lovely touch much appreciated thank you, well equipped kitchen, Comfy beds and sofas and outdoor furniture was great! ! We had to clean the BBQ before we could use it maybe that should be checked prior to arrival and the garden was unkempt. We had a problem when we arrived with the main bathroom drain which was sorted after 3 days so there was a distinctive smell in the property until then, the plumber was very good but the problem was getting through to initially report the issue it wasnt easy needs a better contact facility. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay great location for easy walk to Abersoch and beach.

Clean and very comfortable property. Quiet location and a short walk into Abersoch. Nice to have a self contained garden with two dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay. Gorgeous home. Very well equipped. Lovely comfortable beds. Fantastic central location. Blessed with the weather, better than anywhere abroad!

Really lovely property. Great location. Well equipped. We had a lovely stay.

Jocelyn

This is a lovely property, ideal location, lovely open plan design and plenty of room for a family. Very clean, warm we were there for new year and there was a lovely festive welcome pack for us. The only improvement would be to provide towels. Accommodation is not cheap in Abersoch and for the price you should include towels.

Maxine

3rd stay at lovely Maes Awel and look forward to returning again!

Amanda

Wonderful house for 5 adults 1 baby and a dog! Everthing you could want provided. Easy waking distance into Abersoch but hilly Great restaurants and cafes

We had a lovely holiday. Plenty of room for all of us and a lovely walk to the village and beach. We'll definitely be booking fir next year. Thank you x

Small garden with little useable space. Too many steps and walls to fall over on patio area. Very dusty blinds in ensuite bedroom despite start of Summer season. Need to have pillow protectors. Need for 1 cupboard in kitchen allocated to guests use.

Jonathan

Clean comfortable bungalow in quiet location and not far to the centre. Only draw back was there were no towels supplied this is the first time we havent had towels included

Angela

Property was perfect, had everything needed for a great holiday. Whole place was Spotless. Mattresses and pillows we're absolutely

Victoria

We had a lovely few days at 15 Maes Awel. The house has pretty much everything you might need, it's very comfortable, spacious enough for five of us, and well situated within walking distance of the town centre or beach. The rest of the fabulous Llyn Peninsula is just a short drive away. The lovely welcome basket was a wonderful find on our arrival. We know the area well and we're delighted to have find such a lovely place to stay. We would love to return. If I had to be super, super picky, the additional of towels and a dryer would be helpful. In February, this isn't much of an issue as we didn't need beach towels and could dry clothes in the heated house. However in the summer, adding beach and other towels would increase luggage significantly for a family. In the summer, with no dryer or heating, it's very difficult to dry clothes on a rainy day. Again, this is just if I'm being super picky. The house is even nicer than shown on the photographs and I would thoroughly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful property at the end of a quiet cuil de sac everything you need is provided home from home, with quality items. Very comfortable beds and sofa. We loved the open fire and were provided with logs etc as a starter for our stay. There was also a lovely welcome pack on arrival bottle of fizz, crackers, coffee, tea and mince pies and a bottle of milk and cheese in fridge.

The house is beautiful and had all the comforts and was ideal for our family on arrival it was warm inviting with a wonderful welcome basket. On closer inspection we noticed the cob webs dead flies and dust. The blinds in one of the bedrooms were broken and just bunch up at the corner of the window. The house looked like it had been clean but then left for a while and just the heating turned on before we arrived. I went to take a shower after unpacking not realising the extent of the dust the shower tray had to be cleaned after my shower and my feet had to be rewashed. This house is beautiful and I would recommend and rebook this feedback is more about your cleaners

Just arrived back from a 4 night break at Maes Wel. A Lovely, comfortable house positioned at the end of a quiet cul de sac, a short walk from the centre of Abersoch centre and some fabulous beaches. The house is clean, very welcoming and comfortable with everything being well catered for. We really enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely recommend the property. Thanks

Maxine

This is our second stay at No. 15 and we loved every minute. It feels like home away from home and provides everything needed for our mixed age group 2yrs 73yrs and dog. It is extremely well located, tucked away in a quiet spot with just a short walk to the village amenities and beaches. We will definitely be back!

Lovely large, comfortable home with all mod cons and plenty of parking. Close to town centre in Abersoch

We absolutely loved our stay at 15 Maes Awel. The house was very clean and beautifully furnished, accommodating myself, elderly mother, daughter and her friend and mine. My mothers mobility is poor, so found it a tad difficult to get up the few front door steps, but once inside, it was perfect for her little trolley. My only constructive criticism, is that there was little cupboard space to put groceries in or even a bread bin. Also the house could do with a few different sized cooking dishes for when eating in and seeing as its a dog friendly home, maybe a few dog bowls would be helpful too. Please understand this is not meant as a complaint, as we didnt have anything to complain about it was all really wonderful. On the last day, the hot water went off and the pressure in the boiler went down. Although it couldnt be rectified whilst we were there, a maintenance man and plumber came out within a few hours to try and sort. We could manage well for the day as the showers are electric and it certainly didnt cause any inconvenience. We would highly recommend this property, it is so close to the centre of Abersoch and we certainly would love to come back again. Pippa 31.57.6.24

My daughter uses a wheelchair and there is no ramp access.

Absolutely beautiful home which is fully stocked with everything you need whilst on your holidays. 5 minute walk to the centre of Abersoch a great central location. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
