We absolutely loved Hefor Grug it was welcoming, spacious clean bright and a fantastic view. The owner Moira phoned me prior to our arrival and apologised about the broken glass in the patio sliding door it was the outer pane of the double glazed unit which was not a problem as my wife loved sitting in the lounge chair admiring the view. The only criticism is that a second toilet would have been the icing on the cake, saying that we would love to come back and a huge thank you Moira for allowing us the use of your beautiful home, The Hammond family .
Hefo'r Grug What a lovely spacious bungalow with amazing views of the mountains and sea. The kitchen is well equipped and modern. The bathroom has a lovely bath and powerful walk in shower. The beds are comfy with clean white bedding. The sofas are comfy and there's lots of books for adults and games for children. A children's park over the road with swings etc. It's very peaceful with seats in the garden to enjoy the views. A small post officeshop in the village . We enjoyed our weeks stay. Thank you Moira

On the positive side, the property was spacious, very comfortable, very clean and impressively well equipped. We found the location convenient for visiting all parts of the peninsula with fine sea and mountain views with good walking a stones throw away, and close to Llanbedrogs excellent beach and the lively town of Abersoch. As a first time visitor to the area and the property however, we would have liked to find a property folder with information on recommended local eating, local shopping, instructions for the very extensive range of appliances, etc. Overall staying in Hefor Grug was a very good experience.
We had a great stay in this very comfortable house. It is also in a good location for local walks and not far to drive to beaches in Abersoch and Llanbedrog.

A lovely well appointed clean bungalow, having excellent views of the countryside and distant coastline. yet only 2.5 miles out of the village of Aberdovey with its shops and sandy beach taking a approximately 15 minute drive away. We had a weeks stay there and would not hesitate to go back there for its quiet rural location. But no feeling of isolation Local pub 1.5 miles down the road, and small well stocked local shop 15 minutes walk away selling all essentials. Playground opposite the bungalow. With lovely walks to be had from the property.
Had a really great week at Hefor Grug. Moira responded very quickly with a couple of queries we had. Highly recommended.
