17 Glyn Y Marian Reviews

The sea views from the living room in 17 Glyn Y Marian are fabulous. The house is comfortable and wellequipped. The owner was super responsive and helpful. Some of the decor is a little tired but this did not detract from our enjoyment just something to be aware of. Llanbedrog is a lovely place to stay too.
Love this place so much so that we have returned each year for a number of years, the views of the sea and mountains are amazing and the house is warm, clean and cozy. The area is central to all the places on the Llyn that we love to visit. Thankyou
Melanie
This is the 3rd time we have visited this property, it never disappoints! The view is simply stunning, and we just love llanbedrog, short walk to the beach and 510 minutes in the car to Abersoch, we are rested and have had a great time, and will be back again !
It was a delight to stay in Glyn y Marian again. The view from the balcony is wonderful. The location is fantastic, with beach and the lovely Glyn y Weddw a short walk away and Pwllheli and Abersoch so near. The property was spotlessly clean, with new beds, linen and towels. Claire was the perfect host. She even resolved a mistake wed made with humour and grace. Thank you Claire!
The property was lovely, the views from the living roomkitchen were amazing. We could not stop looking at the sea view, from this room. You can even sit in the arm chair and view the sunrisesunset from this point. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed to prepare your meals. It was just a short walk to the beach and the beach barcafe. The owner Claire is a very friendly, approachable person, who call us during the holiday, to check everything was ok. A very nice thing to do, thank Claire for a lovely relaxing holiday at your property.
We had a lovely 3night stay at the property. The owner was helpful and communicative from the outset. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The views from the upstairs living area are particularly spectacular! The kitchen was wellequipped, and the living room was comfy and cosy. The location is wonderful a short walk to the beautiful Llanbedrog beach, the fabulous Aqua Beach Bar and the wonderful Plas Glyn y Weddw Gallery. It was only a short drive to both Abersoch and Pwllheli. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you so much!
This property is in serious need of updating. Lots of marks on the walls, requires decorating throughout. There was no blind on the bathroom window. As it is downstairs & right next to the front door it wasnt great, especially when the window cleaners arrived whilst having a shower! The ensuite in the main bedroom is shabby & door runners very rusty, so looks unsightly. Bedroom furniture is very tired. On a good note the beds were comfortable & the property was clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. The distance along the path from the car to the front door also needs highlighting. Its uphill and quite a way to carry bags.
Christine
Overall shabby ensuite doors rusted and of the runners would not book again.
The property is in a lovely position with views over the bay. Its very well equipped and very comfortable with lots of space for six people. A great choice of games and books is provided which we enjoyed. Maybe another easy chair in the lounge area and two more chairs on the balcony would have been good but not a problem. The only reason for not giving five stars was the breakdown of the shower in the main bathroom, as the required part needed ordering. We had a wonderful holiday there, thank you.
Nicola
Lovely owner who was very helpful prior to our arrival ! Property was perfect for our 3 night stay & we will definitely be back !! Thank you .
Elspeth
Very comfortable, spacious and wellequipped holiday home in a good location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
We keep returning back to this property, so that speaks volumes for how much we love it. We love the views, the area of Llanbedrog, the proximity to the sea and the comfy bed to mention just a few things! It's an amazing base to come back to after a day out in the mountains or on the beach. Can't wait to return again!
Joanne
Lovely little cottage in a wonderful location. The views from the lounge out to sea are breathtaking. Everything you need for a home from home stay. Plenty of cutlery and crockery, dishwasher a massive plus and a brand new washing machine which meant we were able to clean our sandy clothes. Would highly recommend. The owners were on hand to help and easily contactable as well as being incredibly helpful.
Sharon
Lovely property in a great location.
This is our 3rd stay now at this property, it is in an amazing position overlooking the sea and mountains. It is well equipped with comfortable beds and just a short walk to the beach. This year we saw Dolphins at Porth Neigwl Hells Mouth, that was a very special moment!
Melanie
Just returned from a week in llanbedrog, we feel completely rested physically and mentally but most of all spiritually, the view from the balcony is so good for the soul ! The bed was jolly comfortable and the kitchen well equipped, this is our second visit and we will be back !
Denise
The property needed tlc in some areas. Shower room in double was water damaged, door had no internal handle. Couldn't get hot water in shower. Main bathroom old fashioned. The whole place needed some decoration. No indication that freezer was in cupboard on top of washing machine in entrance. Freezer is in dire need of defrosting and is in danger of falling through shelf onto washing machine. However, kitchen well equipped, lounge really comfortable and an excellently situated property. Water lovely and hot. Though shabby in places, cleanliness bedding etc. excellent. Would certainly consider visiting again.
Very nice place to stay with wonderful views. Very convenient for beach & has all the facilities you could possibly need for a family holiday. Thank you, thank you for sharp knives in the kitchen. As someone who likes to cook this is the first accomodation I've ever seen with a decent selection of knives for cooking!!! Might need to update bin instructions, couldn't find them at first. They are a bit tucked away behind the garages. We wished we had booked to stay longer.
Natasha
The most wonderful property and most wonderful stay! Exceeded all our expectations! The view was stunning and property well equipped, clean and comfortable! I dont think you could find a better stay in the magical area of Llanbedrog thank you for being such kind and understanding hosts x
Graham

Sharon
Lovely property and fantastic view from the living room whatever the weather. Weve stayed many times out of season as there are so many walks to explore in the area.
Great location for exploring, house and patio very nice . Minor moan electric showers
Amazing place with beautiful sea and mountain views. Amazing walks right on the doorstep. Sunrises were stunning and in the evening the moonlit bay was breathtaking. The property was well equipped and warm for our November visit. Owner was very helpful and we will definitely stay again.
Angela
Excellent location, close to pub, shop and beach. Accomodation was spotless, very comfortable with stunning sea and mountain views. would definitely return to this property.
Melanie
Absolutely beautiful place, drinking coffee on the balcony every morning looking at a sea view, pure bliss ! Perfect cottage to take our fur babies, short walk to the beach with a great beach bar , you need to be fairly fit, will certainly return!
Lovely. Our friends used the double and felt some of the en suite bits were worn or corroded. Some lids for the pans and we couldn't work the coffee machine. Great views nice balcony.
Nothing wrong with holiday let but not suitable for elderly folk with mobility issues. Too far away from car park to property, bins too far away from property also. Love Llanbedrog but needed to be on the flat. Also no egg cups
Leanne
This is the perfect place for a family holiday. So close to the beach and local amenities. Both the restaurants and pub are lovely to eat at. House has everything you could need and has the most stunning views. Will be booking again.
Enjoyed a lovely stay and have already booked again for next year. Very relaxing and balcony had great views. Perfect spot to explore local area or just walk down to the beach and enjoy a nice meal at beach bar. Paul
Clear instructions to get to property and house was exactly as described. It had 3 lovely big bedrooms with a wonderful view from living area out over the sea perfect to watch the sun rise every morning. Large Sky TV was a good addition and kitchen was fully equipped including coffee machine and air fryer. Highly recommend this property especially if you have a dog as the nearby beach and pub are perfect to visit.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and there was a new and wellequipped kitchen. The view from the house is absolutely amazing you could never tire of it.
Elizabeth

Perfect holiday house, fabulous living area with wonderful views. Equipped thoroughly. Very comfortable beds. The owners and the lady who cleans clearly want you to feel welcome and have a lovely holiday. Beautiful location. Thank you so much.
Andrew
Absolutely loved our stay here. . location superb and lovely cottage if I had to be picky the only fault and it is being picky was the stairs .. defo would return
Howard
Only one peace of advice. I would recommend some form of gripping material on the stairs they are worn and can be slippery with certain foot ware.
Sharon
For us and our dog its a wonderful place to stay out of season with excellent walks around the area . Claire was very accommodating and the little gifts were a delight . All in all we had a throughly relaxing fortnight. Would highly recommend.
The house was perfect for our weeks holiday, its got everything you need and the view from the balcony was beautiful, would definitely stay here again.
It was my second time staying in this house and I have to say it was again a total pleasure. The house has all you need and is kept to a high standard. The sea view from the balcony is very welcoming and the owner of the property is very friendly and attentive.
