We found accommodation really nice Beds very comfortable facility's good the only thing is there was no welcome pack ie a little tea, sugar and milk just so when you arrive to have a drink, but the worst thing was no toilet paper after all the travelling you did to get there that was disappointing.

Accommodation good the only downside to our stay was cleanliness, have taken photos if you require. On arrival put the kids in the house whilst we unloaded, our youngest is only crawling and his legs were black. The floor felt like it needed a really good clean. Didn't expect to have to unload the dishwasher before we could use it. I dreaded the kids toys going under the furniture as the dust and dirt was not pleasant, there was other people toys and food underneath the coffee table and sofas. The bath has a lot of black mould around it, the seals need a good clean or changing and the taps have pink residue that needs cleaning. The property was nice, furniture etc beds comfy, good location it just needs a really good clean.

What a find , Cae Du was a lovely property , very clean and spacious with everything you could have wanted facilities equipment wise , the patio area was lovely and got the sun all day Would definitely stay here again Didn't want to come home
Lovely clean accommodation with everything we needed and close to the town centre. Would definitely book here again.
A very nice property which is very private. Lovely Patio area but the garden could do with some Maintenance. Pretty well equip but would have been helpful to explain the hot water heating arrangement
Great location, lovely house, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property was clean, wellequipped, and felt like a home away from home. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!
Lovely cosy, comfortable holiday bungalow in a great central Abersoch location. The logburning fire was great for the evening and a sunny sheltered patio at the side of the house.

I am a regular visitor to abersoch and with being there only two weeks prior to my visit to 118 cape du with Sykes I was very disappointed with the accommodation. Firstly, on arrival there was a stale smell on going into the bungalow so ended up buying an air freshener. Dust under the beds, dirty glasses in the cupboard, and generally felt like the place had not been looked after properly. Not even a small welcome pack, Windows dirty, no kitchen soap to wash hands, and stale bedding. No bath mat which could have been dangerous for an elderly person getting out of the shower I did notice that there hasnt been a review since May 2023 I think the owner might care to maybe give it some TLC before someone else complains. The suite needs cleaning too as stains over it and maybe cushions for outside need cleaning too as they smelt dusty. How you could ask for the price 1005 for 3 days then reduce it to 595 is beyond me as I wouldnt have paid more than half price for it wasnt up to standard, and definitely not what Im used to.

We had a great time, lovely property, well presented and exceptionally clean. The kitchen was well equipped with extras most people don't consider which was really useful. the bean bags and beach equipment were a nice touch for the kids saved us having to buy them. The only thing we struggled with was finding the off street parking but we has no issued parking directly outside the property.

Perfect location for us teenage daughters could walk everywhere. Well kitted out kitchen, super comfy beds and pillows. Just a couple of little gripes miscommunication re towels one email said they were provided and I missed the bit on second email where it said they were not and I didn't bring. We love watersports beach etc and struggled with drying wetsuits towels etc a proper 'whirly gig' style washing line would be fab and also a doormat inside the back door There were no waste paper baskets throughout and also lack of hygienic bin and bath shower mat in the bathroom was a bit of a pain but nothing serious ! The garden could use some attention I did a bit of weeding
We love the house, with two gripes. Firstly there is quite a lot of mould spots around the window in the twin bedrooms. This isnt great with two young children sleeping in there. Secondly the smart meter is quite triggering, everyone has had to deal with soaring energy prices, so to be reminded of this on holiday, when youve spent a lot to rent the house isnt very Holliday For the company, sending a reminder email 24 hours before check out with a todo list, in quite a stern tone isnt the best way to finish a holiday.
Although the bungalow was situated well, and was as described, the outdoor space was a little underwhelming. and the garden needed some TLC.
When we arrived we found the off road parking mentioned wasnt there so had to park the car on the front on up on the curb . We were told towels would be provided and to only bring beach towels so we had to buy some additional towels which were costly. It said the facility had a BBQ and it didnt so again bought one . The garden needed some care too as it hadnt been mowed or weeded for weeks. Other than that it was clean all appliances were new and the location for Abersoch centre the shops and beaches was fantastic.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the cottage it was in a great location 10 minute walk to the beach and cafes and the house itself was clean and tidy. Having some of the basics dishwasher tabs, soap etc was also fantastic and more than suitable for our stay. The outdoor area was a real bonus especially as we had fantastic weather and the house was cosy. Would highly recommend this property and also appreciate the ability to accommodate our request 3 nights only at short notice.
Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely bungalow very handy for everything.
The property was very nice, clean and modern. It provided all youd need to enjoy your stay. The only suggestions was that the bottom oven didnt work for most of the stay then suddenly started to work the last couple days so we couldnt use not sure if it needs to be checked and Id also get child locks fitted to the 2 bedroom windows. It was so hot but we couldnt leave the windows open when they were sleeping 1 in each room before we went to bed as the window opened so wide that anyone could have got in or out. I also couldnt find the hook to attach the washing line to outside and found it difficult to find out if I needed to bring towels etc before one of the final emails came, it took me a while clicking through the site to find a number to call Sykes on and then when we arrived the phone number given for questions I rang a few times but no one answered. Thank you

We had a lovely stay thank you. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a nice break. The area was quiet and the walk to town ideal. We would have preferred offstreet parking and initially thought this was what was available. I think this needs to be made clear in the details and not after booking. The house was cold when we arrived and it took us a while to work out the heaters there was no instruction manual available and that would have been helpful. We never really worked out how to put the heating onto any sort of timer so were constantly turning it on and off. The house wasnt very cosy despite having a log burner. We feel it would benefit from a rug in front of the fire and more ambient lighting in the lounge. We were also disappointed that there wasnt any welcome pack even just the basics would have been nice so that we could have made a hot drink before shopping.
