The cottage was beautiful and we will definitely return. Very homely, well equipped and in keeping with a traditional Cornish cottage.
Louise
This was an excellent cottage with enough space for everyone to fit and have their own space. it was comfy and a nice place to stay for the week, close enough to beaches and tourist spots but no in the thick of it.
Leena
Lovely cottage, well-equipped, quality bedding and clear information folder. Great for walks up to Padstow or by the river. A car is recommended for touring the area. Some beautiful beaches very nearby.

The cottage was perfect for my family from America and us. My sister in law especially, loved the traditional style of the cottage . Location was stunning. The cottage is well equipped and contained everything and more, of whatever we might need during our stay. We felt it was cleaned to a high standard and the furniture both inside and out was comfortable and there was plenty of it. i shall look into another booking.
Julia
A lovely comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a beautiful location on the creek with a wide variety of things to do in the surrounding area.

Our family of seven, five adults, two children spent the Easter break at The Boathouse. It was a home from home. We settled in immediately. All our requirements were met.We chose the location because of its proximity to Padstow & lovely beaches . There are some pretty footpaths too alongside the creek, full of primroses , bluebells & wild garlic at this time of year. The creek wasnâ??t deep enough for our kayaks during our visit but provided some beautiful views and soothing noises, especially at nightâ?¦. With the occasional coot & duck call . I would visit again, maybe a different time of year .
Dawn
Beautiful cottage, very well equipped, wonderful location. Too warm in summer with the aga constantly on!
Roger
Good location and decent size house.
Cheryll
A lovely cozy cottage in a beautiful location.
Charlotte
We had a wonderful stay at The Boathouse, great location and a very cosy cottage, outside space was good. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here!
Katherine
The house was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay but going forward I would recommend putting darker carp or even move to wood floors with washable rugs as you accept dogs! Cream is not a very good choice for muddy paws or boots. Also the stair gate leading to the master bedroom needs repair as our Mutley found a way up and onto our bed! Something she knows not to do but followed us up one morning after a walk. The Aga was great to cook on but does mean the master bedroom got unbearably hot as does the kitchen so we had to open both doors and windows all day to mitigate. Other than those little niggles we had a good break. Disappointed there were no seafood restaurants nearby but enjoyed a seafood curry at Oliverâ??s Restaurant in The Pickwick Inn
Pamela
We had a water problem but this was quickly addressed by the owner
